Greece Part 2
After about 7 hours we finally reached the port of Naxos. Meanwhile the sun had set and we were pretty exhausted. Our only goal was to rent a quad and find a beach, so we can build our tent. So we marched with the big red bag, 2 other small backpacks and the remains of a watermelon in its size through the port and asked the car rental agencies. All told us so late we would not get a quad anymore, or there would be no more.
Then we ran a side street high, but discovered a small rental - which also had quads there. Although just one with super low Kubik, but for the first night it has served us. We rented one, loaded it with all our stuff and go toward tuckelten gas station and supermarket. The Quad wanted something from nothing like we pretty jerky and always tended to go in one direction, if you do not constantly directed against. Therefore, we decided to get another one, went back and put it to him. We got a new (still with 2 mirrors!) And went just that little bit better, even if no real difference was noticeable. So we drove off again, to the gas station and then right next to us a place to sleep to search.
Unfortunatelly in the beach right near town is not really much to offer, it smelled disgusting after a sewer and in general it was pretty scary. Apart from the fact that the beach littered was Tourischirmen. So we drove along the main road north. Whatever the reason - well, that was the easiest. And so we ended up in a small village mini, where there were 3 ways to drive on. We went flat after the car - somewhere there had indeed want to go. The guy must have also wondered, as the road was getting narrower and narrower, and it did not look as if still largely come a little, but we hit him hard behind on. made at one point We wait, for it looked as if one could stand up a tent there. But because of the strange noises all the time and because it was so dark we went on anyway. The next morning it turned out the way that the noise came from a goat herd, which stood behind a wall of plants.
Somehow we trust the track itself does not really, but anyway there was nothing to turn back and would be just as stupid, so was it on, until suddenly the road ended. And we were at sea. A beach, 2 houses, nothing else. And the car that we have followed.
came from one of the houses out of a family and asked if we had lost our way. I told them that we have a place to camp looking for and then they offered us our tent a draw somewhere in the area in front of the beach. The beach itself we probably would have been flooded, there were serious waves on the day. And so we built it - on our tent and lay down to sleep right - under a street lamp.
woke the next morning, I first, as I lay on the sunny side, and decided to explore first a bit as it looked during the day.
The beach was beautiful and unspoilt and the scenery was gorgeous. I grabbed my bikini and pulled me quickly and I went swimming. Only briefly, because I had incredibly hungry, just like my girlfriend too. So we packed it relatively quickly our stuff and went - of course in time for the midday heat - going to give us somewhere to buy something to eat and to organize a new quad. We wanted one with more cubic, this was to us slowly. And so we ended up back in the main town near the harbor.
